Urinary Tract Infection is the infection along the Urinary Tract such as in the kidneys, the bladder or the urethra. Women are more prone to develop a UTI due to the proximity in comparison of the anus and urethra as well as the urethra and the bladder.
Symptoms of UTI include the following:
- Increased urge to urinate
- Burning on urination
- Increased frequency of urination
- Cloudy urine
- Blood in urine
- Offensive odor from urine
- Pain in the pelvic region
