Indications: B Jains Asa Foetida is indicated in cases of spasmodic contractions of the abdomen and throat with reverse peristalsis being the most marked symptom. It is also a useful remedy in cases of extreme sensitiveness and nocturnal pains. It is an excellent remedy for difficulty in nursing of new mothers.

Head: Irritable, sensitive, complaining. Pain in head above the eyebrows, pain from within outwards.

Eyes: Pain in orbits, better from pressure and by rest. Throbbing pains in the night, stitches under left frontal eminences, pain in and around the eyes, worse at night.

Ears: Offensive discharge from the ears, pain extending till the cheek bones, purulent discharges.

Nose: offensive and purulent discharges, decay of nasal bone.

Throat: Sensation of a lump in the throat, reverse peristalsis.

Stomach: Difficulty in belching, flatulence and regurgitation of liquids, distension of the abdomen, emptiness and weakness in the stomach with throbbing.
