Indications: This remedy is made from red onions and is characterized by its action on acrid nasal discharges in cases of coryza and bland eye secretions. It is suited to colds from over use of voice, that get worse in a warm room and towards the evening but better in open air. It is also indicated for neuralgic pains especially after amputation or injuries to the nerves. It is also helpful in cases of headaches that get worse in a warm room or towards the evening. Headaches cease during menses.

Eyes: Intense burning and redness, sensitivity to light, bland discharge from eyes, feels better in open air.

Nose: Sneezing, more in a warm room. Copious and very acrid discharge from the nose. Sensation of a lump at the root of the nose, hay fever, nasal polyp.

Abdomen: Excessive hunger, pain in abdomen, thirst increased, nausea and acidity. Rumbling and excessive flatulence. Pain in abdomen worse from sitting and better by moving around.

Rectum: Offensive diarrhea and flatus, fissures in anus. Feeling of heat in the rectum.

Urinary: Weakness in bladder and urethra, excessive urination along with coryza. Reddish urine with burning.

Respiratory: Hacking cough, hoarseness, worse in cold air. Larynx feels split or torn, constriction in the chest. Pain extends till the ears.

Extremities: Joints feel lame, ulcers form on the heels. Very useful remedy for neuralgia of stump and for paronychia. Arms feel tired, ill effects of getting feet wet.

Sleep: Yawning with headache and drowsiness. Waking up at 2a.m.
