We all know how big of a deal in India Diwali festival is. The weather has a sweet coldness in the mornings and evenings. Days can be still a little warmer but this change alone tells us that festivals are coming. Diwali has been my favorite festival since childhood because it brings this unsaid positivity to the environment. Markets are decorated with lights, people are happy, and everyone is exchanging gifts, sweets, and whatnot. You can see people all dressed up in ethnic wear, everyone looks so beautiful and shiny. For BJain Pharmaceuticals, Diwali came early. This year we celebrated Diwali at our office on 26th October 2024.
Our celebration started with a theme of clothes and that was a saree for Women and Kurta for Men. Why not? This festival is all about bling and positivity. Bling was there in clothes and positivity was seen in attitude of everyone. They showed the spirit of the festival and followed the theme right away. We all were very excited and our enthusiasm led to a very beautiful décor and rangoli. Can you tell me the significance of rangoli in Hindu culture? Okay, let me tell you that. It is believed that a rangoli made at the entrance of a house, in our case our office brings prosperity and positivity, and it welcomes the auspiciousness.
Then it was followed by a mouth-watering lunch. Anyone who is reading this must have a knack for Indian chaat and we did too. Food, Music, and Games are the ingredients of any fun event. My favorite game turned out to be Tombola that day. The excitement that came with every number announcement made it so much more thrilling. A lot of prizes were won by participants. I did not win anything but having that sense of festivity was enough of a consolation prize. We had a completely fun-packed day and it ended with the distribution of Diwali gifts.
It can be an appreciation post for the team who planned the whole and tried to keep everything perfect and spectacular. You can always judge an organization with a single count of smiles on its employee’s faces. Our laughs say it all. I would love to appreciate the efforts and blessing of our CEO Mr. Nishant Jain and family.
Happy Diwali to everyone from the BJain Family!
